Things to see in the federal city of Bonn
The Insel Hotel Bonn is an ideal starting point for exploring the sights of the federal city of Bonn. You can begin your discovery tour directly from the Insel Hotel. At Kurfürstliche Zeile / La Redoute (No. 5 on the following map) you can jump on the brand new hop-on hop-off open-top bus. This is a very easy way to discover the historically-rich route through the former federal capital, as well as today’s UN buildings and the University of Bonn.
