FACTS ABOUT THE DEHOGA ENVIRONMENTAL CHECK:

  • Participants in the ‘DEHOGA Environmental Check’ must undergo a a critical review of their energy and water consumption, waste generation (including residual waste) and food-related practices, such as sourcing regional produce. For each of the four categories, specific thresholds and requirements are set for the Bronze, Silver and Gold award levels. The individual characteristics of the establishments are taken fully into account.
  • The ‘DEHOGA Environmental Check’ was designed to meet the specific requirements of the hospitality industry and its predominantly small and medium-sized businesses. In addition to its industry relevance and practical focus, it enables a fair and transparent comparison of the participating establishments.
  • We provide detailed information on the results of the ‘DEHOGA Environmental Check’ for the ‘Insel Hotel Bonn’ in the form of a publication of the corresponding evaluation sheet for the ‘DEHOGA Environmental Check’.
