The reception is open from Monday to Saturday from 06:30 am - 11:00 pm and on Sunday from 06:30 am - 10:00 pm.
Please let us know your approximate arrival time when making your room reservation.
An arrival after 10/11:00pm is possible via our key safe, please let us know in time if you need the safebox.

Check-In without the App:
Check-In | Check-Out can be handled very easily and conveniently via browser on your smartphone or laptop. No App download required in advance. Check-in/Check-Out without a receptionist at the rear hotel entrance „Am Kurpark 3“. Please scan your QR-Code at your booking confirmation and you will receive your key card through the Check-In self service terminal at the Insel Hotel Bonn.

For navigation systems, please enter "Am Kurpark 3" as the destination address and not "Theaterplatz".

If you are arriving from Koblenz via the A61 motorway, change to the A 565 towards Bonn.
Then continue as far as the exit for "Meckenheim" and leave the motorway in the direction of Bad Godesberg. After approx. 7 km via country road (warning - speed checks) you will reach Bad Godesberg: turn right at the 1st traffic lights into Brunnenallee.
Follow the main road until you see the Kurpark on the right.
The entrance to our car park is on the left between house numbers 3 and 1.
- If you are arriving via the A59 (E 35) motorway, take the exit for Bad Godesberg.
Then follow the signs for “Bad Godesberg”. This takes directly onto the B9 in the direction of Koblenz / Bad Godesberg. After about 2km the B9 enters a tunnel. Take the right-hand tunnel in the direction of “Muffendorf/Heiderhof ”.
In the tunnel (warning: 2 speed checks) get into and keep to the left-hand lane. After the exit to the tunnel, turn right before the lights and follow the road.
20m immediately after the first left bend you will find the entrance to our car park on the right, recognisable by the car park sign and green and white colours.
You can reach us by intercity train (IC and ICE) via Bonn Central Station or Siegburg.
- On arrival in Bonn, take the suburban railway line 16 or 63 to "Bad Godesberg-Bahnhof" or "Alte Bahnhofstraße".
- If you are arriving in Siegburg, take the tram to "Bonn-Hauptbahnhof" and then change to suburban railway line 16 or 63 (see above).
From Godesberg station follow 'Löbestrasse' to the end (approx. 200 m), then turn right along 'Hauptstrasse', which after 50m bears to the left. You will then see the entrance to our car park - recognisable by our green and white colours.
Please note:
Intercity trains (IC and ICE) do not stop in Bad Godesberg - please change beforehand in either Koblenz or Bonn Central Station.
From Bonn Central Station you can get to us by suburban railway, Line 16 or 63 (Direction: Bad Godesberg).
Travel to the last but one stop (Bad Godesberg Bahnhof). From there take the 'Alte Bahnhofstrasse' exit and follow this shopping street. At the end, cross over Koblenzer Strasse and continue straight ahead up Theaterplatz. After about 100m you will see a fountain and the Insel Hotel with Restaurant und Café on your left.
Parking at and around the hotel
You can park directly behind the hotel in an open car park.
The entrance address is: "Am Kurpark 3, 53177 Bonn".
From here there is direct access to the hotel.
Parking charges for the open car park at the hotel:
- Overnight parking for hotel guests:
€ 15.00 per vehicle/ per night - Overnight parking for hotel guests with charging option:
€ 15,00 per vehicle/ per night + 40cent per kWH
A maximum of 4 vehicles can be loaded at the same time. - Parking for restaurant guests: € 2.00 for the 1st and from the 2nd hour € 3.00.
If you spend €15.00 or more per guest, you can park for free!
The charging option is reserved for overnight guests.
Alternative parking possibilities:
- Free parking (about a 5-minute walk from the hotel):
This is located on the other side of the Kurpark.
After close of business until 09.00 hrs the following morning, free parking is also possible in the vicinity. - Multi-story car park from Q-Park (approx. 400m from the hotel):
You will find this car park in the "Fronhofer Galeria" store - entrance via Schwertberger Strasse.
